Sharda University students display temperature controlled bikers’ jacket at Auto Expo

With all the bling of the big motor brands at Auto Expo 2016, Sharda University’s students did not stay behind as they put on show a special air-conditioned bikers’ jacket at a stall in the Motor Show in Greater Noida. A team of Sharda’s mechanical engineering students called Team Tornadoes developed the jacket that was displayed at the Expo.

“The air-conditioned jacket is developed keeping in mind the comfort of the biker riding in difficult temperatures. The jacket will keep the biker cool or warm, depending on how he wants it to be,” said a student member of Team Tornadoes.

The special air-conditioned jacket has a usual thickness and the bikers can wear it without any discomfort.Team Tornadoes Racing is the official team of Sharda University for Baja SAE and Supra SAE.

The students were really excited about having owned the stall E-11 at the Expo. Among many international motor brands like Volkswagen Das Auto, Ashok Leyland, Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Datsun, Eicher, Fiat, Ford, Hero, and Hyundai, Sharda University’s team got the platform to display their creative innovation.

The 5-day Auto Expo had over 6 lakh visitors. Many hot celebrities launched new vehicles including, but not limited to, Sachin Tendulkar, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Virat Kohli, Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, and John Abraham.
