HTC One hit the Indian Market prior to its expected launch i.e. early May. Along with its launch on April 21, the 2014 HTC flagship has been officially listed on all the Indian ecommerce portals.
The phone will be sold across all the HTC centers along with reputed retail chain stores which are specialised in dealing with consumer electronics and durables, from May 7 at the exclusive price of Rs. 49,900. This new HTC One model has been smartly customised to support 4G LTE network along with 2G and 3G.
However, some retailers have listed the New HTC One on Flipkart with a discounted price, where the device will be delivered within 6 to 8 business days. While tech retailer SyberPlace has listed the New HTC One for Rs.47,689, which is comparatively lower than any other ecommerce site.
The new HTC One comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU that is supposed to be one of the best processors on a smartphone. It runs run on the latest Android KitKat 4.4 operating system and has HTC’s latest Sense 6 for a better user experience.
The device is powered by a 2.5 GHz Quad-Core processor and 2GB RAM with 16GB onboard storage, which is expandable up to 128GB. It supports 4G LTE network along with 2G and 3G. For connectivity, it offers NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, DLNA, HTC Connect, Micro USB 2.0. The new One also has HTC BoomSound with dual front speakers. On the camera front, the primary camera is a Duo Ultrapixel camera with a BSI sensor and a secondary depth sensor camera. The front camera on the New HTC One is a 5 Megapixel, BSI Sensor, wide angle lens with HDR capability. The cameras are capable of full HD video recording.
