Uflex Conducts Session on Make In India In Flexible Packaging

The world leader of flexible packaging Uflex organizes various programmes and conference which are aimed at enlightening and spreading awareness among people about flexible packaging. Recently, Uflex held a conference which talked about Make in India and how this initiative is a vital to the success of innovation packaging.

Chief Managing Director of Uflex Mr. Ashok Chaturvedi delivered the keynote address at the Speciality Films and Flexible Packaging Global Conference 2015 on the 16th of September 2015 at Mumbai.

The Speciality Films and Flexible Packaging Global Conference is organized annually by ElitePlus Business Services and is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious conferences on Flexible Packaging. This year’s edition drew over 800 participants from 340 organizations spanning 25 countries and was an unparalleled success.

Mr. Chaturvedi’s address was titled “The Innovation Journey – Make in India” and featured the importance of innovation in Packaging to ensure the success of the Make in India initiative. He also addressed the role of innovation in countering brand theft, counterfeiting and look-alike products.

His session was a very interactive and all the attending employees actively participated. Peopple pooled in their ideas and feedbacks on how ‘Made in India’ can be incorporated and be used in the industry of flexible packaging. The unanimous conclusion of the session upheld that this national initiative is going t o reap heavy benefits for the packaging industry.

The Conference also featured opening remarks by Mr. Pradeep Tyle and Mr. Amit Ray, who were also members of the Core Committee for the Conference. They appreciated the initiative of Uflex in organizing such conferences which get people of the packaging industry together. This helps all of them to learn, grow and implement fresher ideas.
