Global Foundation i.e. a Public Charitable Trust Division of India’s leading Global Group undertakes various events in interest of the society regularly. In accordance of which on April 9 at residence of Atul Bange, Humarmala , Global Foundation Pinguli organized an eye checkup and Hemoglobin camp along with the diagnosis of cataract in the eyes. With support of Laxman Desai with PHC Walawal and member of Grampanchyat Walawal together with Mr. Atul Bange, Shri. Walawalkar, Mrs. Archana Bange, Aparna Patil and Shri Bapu Margi, the camp benefitted 83 persons in total whilst those 4 who were detected with cataract will be treated in Civil Hospital, Oros during July, the other 42 who were found to be having eye sight problems are assured with spectacles at low cost. Rajesh, a participant in the camp mentioned, “The Company has done a great effort for those who weren’t aware of their cataract or other eye sight issues and hope it will continue in future,”
Concurrently, Global Foundation arranged a 5 Days ICT Training Program in N A S D Vidyalay Walawal, Kudal with an aim to impart complete training amongst students of 10th class and that at the request of the school was initiated on April 20. Under the guidance of Swapnil Naik, the whole program witnessed footfall from 34 students of NASD HS walawal and 29 students of Chendvan HS wherein the emphasis was given on topics like Basic Internet, Blogger Creation, Internet and Geogebra in presence of other school teachers namely, Mr. Sangale, Mr. Samant and Mr. Warang. The program is considered to be huge success as it received enormous appreciation from students as well as teachers.
