Graeme Sait is a nutrition farming expert with experience in soil health education. Sait personally talked with farmers, regarding grape farms and maintaining the health of soil, where the crop of grapes is being harnessed. Along with Sait, Steve Capness focuses on spreading the mindfulness on how soil plays a significant role in crop yielding. Steve Capness, on the other hand, is an expert in balanced nutrition farming.
Nashik is the place of origin for table grape revolution which was initiated by Raosaheb Jairam Krishna Gaikwad in 1925 in Ojhar, Nashik’s small town. These Nashik produced table grapes are being exported to Asia, Europe and the Middle East toady.
Ravi Jhunjhunwala was delighted that a renowned nutrition farming expert agreed to guide the farmers via workshop in India. He said, “Having Graeme Sait among us, itself is a moment of pride for India. As NBS products are used in nutrition farming at Nashik grape farms, the local farmers needed more clarity to keep their crop healthy and maintain the nutrients of their crops’ soil. So we thought that nobody could ever throw light on the matter than the expert, Graeme Sait himself.”
Sait and Capeness visited the grape farms, invigilated the grapes’ crop, inspected the richness of soil and preached the farmers, how can they enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of their field soil.
