CBSE 12 Boards results were out recently, and universities all over India have opened their gates to welcome the new batch of students. Engineering courses remain one of the most sought after courses in the country. Alliance University, Bengaluru has opened admissions to various UG programs in engineering at its College of Engineering and Design.

Alliance College of Engineering and Design has been constantly ranked among the top engineering institutions present in the country. The varsity boasts of its robust industry interactions, research aimed at solving problems of the real world and a plethora of international collaborative arrangements. Alliance University also holds an exemplary track record in career counseling and placement facilitation.

However, it’s not just imparting world class education that forms the USP of Alliance University, Bengaluru. The Chancellor, Sudhir G Angur holds a vision of transforming the engineering education in India.

“I believe that any study is incomplete without the cultivation of leadership skills in students. Making them face the harsh realities of the industry they are about to enter after the completion of their course – it makes them more independent and mentally prepared to cope up with what lies next,” he says.

The Alliance University Chancellor adds, “It should be the students who get to decide what course of action to take during a given crisis. Dealing with real problems and finding real solutions cultivates greater confidence and clarity among the students, particularly those pursuing engineering courses.” And that’s what Alliance University is working to achieve.

The varsity offers a direct involvement of industry perspective in the curriculum, which proves to be of great assistance to students in gaining a holistic practical experience of their future profession. The faculty is constantly working towards providing better and more interactive engineering education to the students by joining hands with more industrial players not only in India, but also across the globe.

Alliance University also enjoys a locational benefit. Situated in the heart of India’s IT hub, Bengaluru, the premier student-focused university offered its students a hands-on industrial experience like none other. Students explore the nooks and crannies of the industry of their choice at an early stage, and are well-aware of what works and what doesn’t in the said industry by the time they complete their undergraduate course.

“At Alliance University, we aim at making our students competitive enough to face the cut-throat competition in the world by understanding the demands of the changing times. This recognition will spur us further to continue striving towards excellence,” says the chancellor Sudhir Angur.

Named the ‘Best University’ by ASSOCHAM earlier this year, Alliance University offers B Tech programs in Civil Engineering (CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Aerospace Engineering (AE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT).
