National Seminar of Cultural Coordinators hosted by Alliance University| Bangalore , India

Alliance University hosted a two-day Inter-University National Seminar of Cultural Coordinators,

Dean/Director Student Welfare (DSWs) on 11th and 12th September 2015.

The seminar was hosted under the guidance of Association of Indian Universities and focused on the role of Inter – University (UNIFESTs) in promotion of Human and Cultural Values and National Integration.
The seminar included presentations on organizing and management of UNIFESTs and other Youth Programmes and provided a critical Analysis of cultural events of the UNIFESTs. These topics were discussed by renowned personalities like Dr. Satish Verma, DYW, Panjabi University, Punjab, Dr. Pari Parmeshwaran, Cultural Coordinator of Madurai Kamraj University, Tamil Nadu, Dr. Arun Patil, Ex Cultural Coordinator of RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, Dr. Sorabh Lakhanpal, Head, Division of Student Affairs, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, Punjab and Dr. Vasant Kiran, HOD, Dept. of Performing Arts, Alliance University.

Prof. Sudhir G. Angur, the honorable Chancellor of Alliance University

Inaugurated the program along with Dr. Avinash C Pandey, the Vice Chancellor of Bundlekhand University, Jhansi, Dr. AH Rajasab, Vice – Chancellor of Tumkur University, Dr. MS Shyamasundar, Adviser – Incharge, NAAC, Shri Sampson David, Joint Secretary, AIU. Eminent personalities like Mr. Sivakumar Mathada, Registrar, Alliance University, Prof (Capt) A Nagaraj Subba Rao, Director for Human Resources, Alliance University, Mr. Abraham PT, Director, Student Services, Alliance University and Shri Sampson David, Joint Secretary, AIU graced the Valedictory function with their presence. Prominent universities like Punjab Agricultural University, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Guru Nanak Dev University, Tezpur University, SP Pune University, RTM Nagpur University, University of Mysore, Bangalore University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, SP Pune University, Maharshi Dayanand University, Lovely Professional University, Central University of Kerala, University of Calicut ,AISECT University etc actively participated in the event.
