It is a gate way towards promoting Research & Development. Moreover, the GATE score has replaced written tests and is now being used for screening purposes by various public sector companies.

“The results of these efforts can be seen as 45 engineering students from Parul University have qualified in GATE 2017″, Said Dr Ketan Kotecha, Provost, PU. Ajay Sojitra, A Mechanical Student scored 217 A.I.R Rank (Gate Score: 860; 82.05 out of 100) “These students will get a chance to study in Premier Higher Education Institutions in India. Last year about 32 students had qualified GATE while this year the number has increased to 45; Considering this, a number of students have enrolled & started preparing for GATE 2018, hence there is an expectation of more number of students qualifying the exam next time round” added Dr Kotecha.
