The Amazon fashion week was a 5 day fiesta, with the likes of Abraham & Thkaore, Anuj Modi, Ashish & Soni, and JJ Valaya & Payal Jain who celebrated their 25th year in fashion industry. Besides, Madhu Jain and Suneet Varma celebrating 30 years in the fashion industry. The grand finale was a two-phased show which saw Pret and Couture coming together on the same ramp. The show offered a celebration to mark the 30th edition of FDCI’s Amazon Fashion Week 2018.
Coming forth with a traditional runaway standards of shopping, Amazon fashion collaborated with its finale designers to present pret-a porter collections, purchasing which is just a click away. Designers Rina Dhaka, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna, Asish & Soni, Krishna Mehta and Pankaj & Nidhi opened the show with Amazon fashion exclusive ‘see now buy now’ festive collections.
The collections included five capsules lines with six statement pieces each offering, evening wear handcrafted by Pankaj & Nidhi, smart formal clothing in textured jacquards developed in Knit fabrics by Ashish & Son, and occasion wear crafted from block printed, tie dyed and embroidered fabric by Krishna Mehta, every-day wear in fluid silhouettes by Rina Dhaka and wardrobe essentials in symmetrical drapes by Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna. The long list of crafted apparels was a fine example of perfect fashion wears.
The fashion week was rounded off with a display of by Suneet Varma, who was also celebrating his 30 years in fashion industry. He showcased his ‘Garden of Eden’ collection, which had a mix of traditional motifs with abstract artworks. Besides, Sheer Fabrics with delicate placement of embellishments were the main attraction of the show.
