The former Managing Director of Orind Company, Ravin Jhunjhunwala recently joined hands with Australian Company Nutri-tech Solutions, for catering the health-related needs of the individuals across the Nation. The field expert has highlighted the features of insurance cover for patients and provision of free medicines and diagnostics.
As the Union Budget 2016 has been represented in the parliament recently, Ravin Jhunjhunwala is appreciating the same till date. He says, “The Union Government has taken a commendable step in health industry by introducing the concept of health insurance for all. Even the senior citizens’ consideration is something which is essential today. The proposed opening of 300 more generic drug stores will be catering the hourly need of numerous people as it will be convenient for the masses to locate one in their neighbourhood.”
The Union Government came up with health insurance cover of up to 1 lakh for the whole family and an additional healthcare cover of Rs 30,000 for the senior citizens. The PM Jan Aushadhi Yojana is yet to be strengthened and one more scheme has been proposed this budgetary season, which is Rashtriya Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, the National Health Protection Scheme (NHPS), a new taxonomy of the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY).
The Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley also mentioned in the budget 2016 that the dialysis service will be provided at all district hospitals, under National Dialysis Service Program by raising funds through PPP mode. “It will give relief to annually added 2.2 lakh renal patients across the Nation,” highlighted Ravin Jhunjhunwala.
