The Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal will fly to Bengaluru to join a 10-day naturopathy course this week. Following the protest at Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal’s residence, CM Kejriwal’s blood sugar levels increased to the point that Insulin shots were rendered ineffective.
The Chief Minister had earlier attended a similar naturopathy treatment in Bengaluru to solve his chronic cough problem. However, the CM’s visit to Bengaluru will delay his meeting with IAS officers. In fact, the Lieutenant Governor had asked him to meet the IAS officers urgently to solve the matters.
Interestingly it was the CM who had voiced concerns that the IAS officers were not meeting him after Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash was assaulted at Kejriwal’s residence in February.
IAS AGUMUT (Arunachal, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories) Association tweeted “In the context of chief minister’s assurance, we await formal communication for a meeting with him in the Delhi Secretariat. We reiterate that we continue to be at work.” Arvind Kejriwal assured the safety of the IAS officers and called them a part of his extended family.
Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendra Jain were hospitalized as they were on a hunger strike. The Deputy CM clarified, “It was not a dharna. We were waiting to meet the lieutenant governor.”
