Subrata Roy Sahara’s Think With Me shows the roads to greater India

The Think With Me Summit held at Hotel Vivanta by Taj in Lucknow on December 18, 2016, was a step towards infusing life into these buried golden words. Hosted by Sahara News Network, the summit turned out to be the biggest event of this year. It was graced by luminaries from all walks of life. UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, Hyderabad-based MP Assadudin Owaisi, Superstar ‏Amitabh Bachchan , actor and politician Raj Babbar, BJP leader Sambit Swaraj, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, and tennis champ Sania Mirza, were in the panel of speakers.

Saharasri’s agenda behind the mega event was to conduct a healthy debate on issues that are hindering India’s path to success. The honorable panelists and those present in the audience took the initiative to clear the dust off pivotal national concerns. The topics of discussion ranged from female foeticide, education of girl child, over population, infrastructural development, current election scenarios, spiritual upheaval, to shortcomings on the country’s sports front.

In his speech, the founder and chairman of the Sahara India Pariwar shared his views on how to make India stand amidst the global superpowers.A guide, teacher, and proud philosopher, Saharasri rightly pens down, “National interest is paramount.”

He advocates the need of bringing uniformity in how we perceive customs and conventions and states, “In the name of religion, the primary duty of everyone must be to work towards national interest.”

The second one to be launched in his trilogy, Think With Me talks about the fundamentals of making India an ideal country.

The Think With Me Summit was organised to draw focus on similar issues. The event concluded with the unveiling of Saharasri Subrata Roy’s latest writing marvelThink With Me. The second one to be launched in his trilogy, Think With Me Book talks about the fundamentals of making India an ideal country.

Subrata Roy also pleads the countrymen to come forward and join hands in tackling the menace of growing population, which has surpassed the dangerous mark of 1 billion.

Also pointing out the country’s current governmental inadequacies, Saharasri commented,“The political leaders are unfortunately entangled in vote-bank politics and the intellectuals and religious leaders are motivated by their narrow self-interests.”

He calls for a constructive movement to take India to greater heights. He speaks his mind out and says, “There is no doubt that India has made rapid progress and achieved prosperity too, yet the goals that we set for ourselves are still unfulfilled and underachieved.”

The distinguished Indian thought leader envisions India as a global leader and concludes, “It is a harsh reality that we have bigger problems today than we had at the time of Independence. These problems are not good signs for the future of India.”

APJ Abdul Kalam’s words: “The country doesn’t deserve anything less than success from us. Let us aim for success,” seemed to have lost somewhere amidst the sky-touching buildings, fast-moving lives and hours of standstill traffic jams.
