Bihar board result to be announced after May 20, says Board official

NEW DELHI: A Bihar school Examination Board (BSEB) official has clarified that the result for board examination of Intermediate and Matriculation will not be announced before May 15. While various media channels and outlets have conjectured that the Bihar Board result will be announced on May 14/15, an official from the board has clarified that the result can be expected after May 20, 2018.

The board official also mentioned that while they are trying to release the results by May 20, the tentative date for the result announcement can be expected to be between May 20 to May 25.

Once the result declaration date is fixed, the board will also release the announcement in the newspapers.

The board came across various difficulties during the evaluation process this year.  However, the process of evaluating and marking the papers is now complete and the board is preparing the marks cards of the students.

The official brought to notice that the board faced many difficulties in the decoding process, because many students had filled the details in the OMR sheet incorrectly.

Meanwhile the ICSE and ISC boards will be releasing the student’s results on May 14 along with the MP board.
