The whole World witnessed what all Paris went through on Friday the 13th. The normal life is striving to go back on track after the 5 terrorist attacks took place at the global center for art and culture. The most romantic city in the world received so much hatred all the way from the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIS) that more than 100 lives were taken, leaving 352 injured in tears of shock rather than pain.
Director Naushad Shaikh, Creative Academy, Pune paid tribute to the lost souls in the attack, by organising a candle lit vigil in his home turf Pune. Not only had the students of Creative Academy participated in this candle lit vigil, but number of locals of the city came forward to stand with Paris in the hour of need against terrorism.
“It’s an attack on the aesthetic world. After Charlie Hebdo, these unsocial elements again targeted the most peaceful race on Earth, the artists and art lover. What happened at Bataclan Theatre is unbelievable and intolerant. But we will not answer back in the same way; rather we opted for the peaceful demonstration. This march is not a tribute to Paris attack only, we also empathise with civilians of Iraq, Lebanon and Syria. Those people are suffering at the hands of terrorism on a daily basis. We wish for their well being as well.” said Naushad Shaikh, Creative Academy Pune.
