One of the leading emergency medical service providers, Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd’s 108 and 102 ambulance helpline services have helped in rescuing more than 3,000 people across 5 districts in Odisha. The healthcare service provider also delivered medical aid to the people rescued from Puri, Khorda, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur and Cuttack.
Co-founded by Shweta Mangal, Ziqitza healthcare ltd deployed over 25 ambulances from 108 and 102 helpline services for relocating residents to safer areas, a day prior to the cyclone.
Talking about the situation, Manish Sacheti, Chief Financial Officer of Ziqitza Health Care Ltd said, “We recognized the need for immediate assistance and deployed our crew to support the people of Odisha, during such trying times. We believe every life counts, and are glad to reach out to over 3000 people.”
According to the officials, Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd transferred many patients in ambulances through coordination between Cluster Leaders and Chief District Medical Officers of the concerned districts. While transporting patients to the safer areas, the staff of Ziqitza Healthcare also cleared roads by moving broken trees and other obstacles along the way.
