Department of Mass Communication, SADMS, Sharda University Noida is holding special screening of two critically acclaimed movies – Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho and National Award Winning Documentary– Can’t Take This Shit Anymore. The screening would take place on January 29th, from 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
At SMSR AUDI, Sharda University, Greater Noida. Post the screenings, the audience would get a chance to interact with the Vinod Kapri, director of the two movies. Bollywood actress Hrishitaa Bhatt would also be present at the screening.
Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho is a political satire while Can’t Take This Shit Anymore deals with the lack of toilets and sanitation facilities for women in the rural India.Official spokesperson for Sharda University said , “ It is a proud moment for us to hold the special screening of the two movies. The movies made by Vinod Kapri hold a great relevance with respect to our current scenario. He has brought up two very fundamental issues in the films- politics and health and sanitation. By screening his films at our Department of Mass Communication, Sharda University wants to extend its support to filmmakers in making meaningful cinema, the one that holds a deep social connect.”
One of the students of the Department of Mass Communication elated, “We are all excited to interact with Mr. Vinod. He has been a senior journalist and now a celebrated film maker. We all look forward to a great time watching the films and then interacting with the director. “
