Announcing the unique project, KUL Director, Kruti Jain said: “We will initially invest Rs 7 crore on the bridge which will connect the award winning KUL Ecoloch township with Hinjewadi Phase-I. The work on the project will start on the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa.”
The 120 mtr long Bailey suspension bridge across the Mula river has been conceived and designed by renowned British Engineer and Designer Sir Donald Bailey. It will be built by M/S Garden Research shipbuilders & Engineers ltd.
KUL Ecoloch will be coming up on a 200 acre land, with over 6 million sq ft built up area in phase-1, and is located on the southern bank of Mula river dividing Hinjewadi and Mahalunge, with easy connectivity to Baner, Aundh, Pune University and Chandni Chowk. The link will allow people better connectivity between ecoloch and Hinjewadi.
The second phase of the township will have an array of 1/2/3/4 BHK and luxury apartments. The project is designed to encourage ‘walk-to-work’ concept as it is strategically located near Pune’s IT corridor on the main artery connecting Pune with Mumbai. Navi Mumbai is just 2 hours drive from the site.
KUL Ecoloch offers a holistic lifestyle to its residents. It would also have a sports club and fitness centre that will appeal to health and fitness enthusiasts. Ecoloch will also boast of amenities like a football ground, basket ball court, Olympic size swimming pool, running track, modern gymnasium, etc.
