After considering facts and data, experts say that 3 to 5% of the population is affected with severe venous problems, and 10% out of those people are suffering from varicose veins. There are various methods across the Nation but only a few provide relief.
Now, as the world has entered a new era, various new methods have raised the expectations of patients suffering from varicose veins disease.
K.R. Suresh, the Director of Jain Institute of Vascular Sciences ( ), highlights how people don’t seek proper treatment for varicose veins even when the disease reaches an advanced stage, and in many cases, surgery is required. Laser technique is that solution for such people, who don’t want to undergo the surgery. People can easily get back to work in no time after the treatment.
Endovenous Laser Ablation is one of those minimally invasive techniques which are being globally used today, for varicose veins treatment, which involves small incision in the affected part and laser fibre’s introduction. In this treatment, laser is precisely targeted on the affected area at regular intervals which cause the immediate collapse of the varicose veins.
Dr. Suresh says. “This is a convenient treatment for those who do not want to undergo surgery, and it is an outpatient procedure.”
Jain Institute of Vascular Sciences is 1st in the state and 3rd in the Nation, to acquire the ELVes Laser System for Endovenous Laser Ablation.
