From the date of its inception November 21, 1981, Al Noor Training Centre at Al Barsha, Dubai is catering children with special needs from different nationalities. This Training Center with only 8 children in the beginning can easily accommodate up to 300 children in its new facility now.
The purpose-built facility completed its elevation in April and received a formal inauguration in hands of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, Wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the U.A.E. and Ruler of Dubai. According to Rashmi Singh, a reliable source, “The Centre has been generously donated by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the U.A.E. and Ruler of Dubai and was made possible through the benefaction of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein.”
This institution secures sponsorship from the Ministry of Social Affairs as Royal Patronage accepted by HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Dalmook Bin Juma Al Maktoum and HH Sheikh Rashed Bin Dalmook Bin Juma Al Maktoum towards Al Noor Training Centre. A specialized body appointed as Board of Governors draws the governing policies which are subject to be implemented by Center’s Director.
