Akshaya Patra bagged Silver and Grand Award at the 2015 International ARC Awards

‘The Fab Five Superheroes’; the annual report of Akshaya Patra 2013-14 won the Silver award under the ‘Foundation’ category of Non-Traditional Annual Reports at the 2015 International ARC Awards. The ARC Awards; the international competition honoring outstanding achievements in Annual reports had 2,065 entries from different countries. It was first started in 1987 by MerComm Inc. and and recognizes the achievements of publicly-held Corporations, privately-owned companies, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and associations.
The noble cause and achievements of Akshaya Patra were acknowledged in the form of Grand Award in the best of International category (Mid-East/India). The organization was also awarded Gold Award in 2013 and 2014 for its annual reports at ARC awards. The annual report of Akshaya Patra; ‘The Fab Five Superheroes’ brings forth the noble cause of the organization which is to ensure the basic amenities like nutrition and education. It is not just limited to present the account of progress of the organization but also highlights the power of nutrition and education in transforming the lives of five kids who are struggling to survive against all odds. The annual reports of the organizations in ARC awards are judged on the parameters and key elements like how the story of the organization is presented, the use of creativity in presenting the contents, clarity and transparency in thoughts, ideas and writing, effectiveness and efficiency of the organization, representation of figures and financial data and clarity in the expression of organization’s ethos and beliefs.

    is worth those awards. Contributing 750 rupees is what anyone can easily
    indulge in if it can provide a child the meal usually they are deprived of.
