GISB (The Global Institute of Sports Business) has recently announced a strategic affiliation with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC), an organization offering business solutions to India-based firms who want to foray into Germany and vice versa.
The only industry designed and internationally certified sports management program in India — the Global Institute of Sports Business is focused on offering great learning experiencing to its students for successful career options in sports industry. It ensures complete balance between theory and practical aspects of leaning.
GISB focuses on providing equal time to students in the classroom as well for practical learning and live projects. With this approach, it ensures the overall understanding of all the aspects of sports industry.
Currently, IGCC aims at creating multiple sports projects and majorly focusing at Indo German sports partnerships. In the last few year, they have conducted a number of brand engagement activities in India. Among them, the Borussia Dortmund training camp at the Cooperage Stadium, Mumbai followed by the ‘Revierderby’ screening for the Borussia Dortmund v FC Schalke game, were some of the most successful ones.
Reportedly, a Masterclass session has also been scheduled by the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) at the GISB campus, where a few students will be provided a chance to go through a full-time internship at the IGCC office in Mumbai.
In the words of Neel Shah, Program Director, GISB, “At GISB, we believe that practical learning through live projects is where students truly understand what working in the sports Industry is like. I am confident that our affiliation with the Indo German Chamber of Commerce will help them develop the skillsets to excel in the sports industry.”
