The world expected a calculated and heavy response from the United States of America following the worrisome remarks of Iran’s president. However, they did not expect an all-out aggressive tweet from President Trump in capital letters.
While addressing some diplomats in Tehran, Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani commented “Americans must understand that war with Iran is the mother of all wars and peace with Iran is the mother of all peace.” To this, the POTUS replied belligerently:
It looked somewhat like a teenage Twitter argument where caps are often used to emphasize on certain points, or when angry people shout at each other via messages. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo likened the Iranian government to the Mafia, where the common Iranian is being sacrificed to enrich the ruling clerics.
The tweets alarmed the analysts as it was out-of-character for Trump to make such a statement in an aggressive demeanor. Yet. It’s not the end of peace possibilities as President Donald Trump had made similar threats to North Korea. North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un met President trump on June 12, 2018 and jointly signed a declaration for North Korea’s denuclearization and the establishment of new North Korea-USA relations.
