Preston Rogers has been appointed as General Manager of BMW group brands UK. He was formerly working as General Manager of Sales and Marketing at BMW Group Financial Services South Africa. He will be responsible for the continued roll-out of a significant new business model to BMW and MINI retailers.
Rogers is gracing the seat vacated by Spencer Halil since August 3, 2015. Spencer is working as the director of ALPHERA Financial Services now.
Rogers is associated with BMW Group since 2003. He is a graduate in marketing and business from Johannesburg. He started his career as a credit analyst in South Africa. He has also worked on strategy making, played key roles in sales & marketing and worked on an assignment in pricing with ALPHERA Financial Services in the UK.
Director of Sales and Marketing at BMW Group Financial Services, Bob Jordan is delighted to welcome Preston back to the UK at this incredibly exciting time for company’s financial services business. He said that, Preston will play an essential role in ensuring BMW Group is able to deliver an even more effective and positive experience for its client base, while working with retailers across BMW, MINI and Motorrad products.
In an interview, Rogers said that he is looking forward to being back in the UK and working alongside the team there to continue the roll-out of company’s innovative approach to doing business. He said that the UK automotive retail sector is in a positive place right now, and they all want to do everything they can to ensure their retailers are able to benefit from the retention and business growth opportunities. And it can be achieved with transparency and treating the customer fairly.
