Narayana Health (NH), one of the leading hospitals in India has collaborated with Cisco , an American multinational corporation technology company in order to deliver affordable specialty healthcare services. It looks forward to offering specialized remote diagnostics capabilities with the help of Cisco’s virtual expertise digital solution. A highly secure medical-grade network embedded with high-definition two-way video and advanced visual experience was launched in Bangalore as a part of this coalition.
The collaboration with Cisco will help Narayana Health to offer diagnostic services for various specialties at a reasonable cost. It will ensure a high-quality and high-value patient experience in several areas like neurology, nephrology, oncology and cardiology. It will further help in creating a truly mobile and digital hospital experience due to the modifications implemented by Cisco. Narayana Health Group will work together with Cisco to integrate and set up advanced telemedicine solutions across three centres in India – Sirsi and Bellary in Karnataka and Rajarhat in Bengal via the main centre at Narayana Health City located in Bommasandra, Bangalore.
The virtual expertise digital solution of Cisco will help the patients in connecting with NH specialist easily and efficiently, regardless of distance. The solution brings voice, video, and data to wherever patients are located and demonstrates how tele-health and sensors within medical devices can create new opportunities for innovation. The solution enables real-time telemetry of medical device data, audio, high-definition two-way video, ECG, other vitals and radiology, analytics of medical reports and a web-based portal which supports mobile end points. It will also aid the Narayana Healthcare teams in providing a prognostic and predictive care for their patients.
