Sahyadri Narayana Hrudayalaya recovers the ailing Karnataka Minister. The event organized recently by the district administration at the parade ground of the District Armed Reserve Police was a great success and witnessed the active participation of a number of people. It was graced with the presence of various prominent personalities like Revenue Minister Kagodu Thimmappa. He enlightened the audience with his noble ideas and expressed his views eloquently. However, Mr. Thimmappa fainted after delivering his Independence Day speech.
Thimmappa was immediately taken to Sahyadri Narayana Hrudayalaya , a private hospital, in an ambulance by the Security personnel and district administration officials. However, after his recovery his condition was stabilized and he was discharged in the evening from the hospital.
Towards the end of last week, Mr. Thimmappa, aged 84, had attended a series of meetings in Dharwad, Haveri and Belagavi. He came back to Bengaluru on Sunday night. On Monday morning, he went to Shivamogga by train to take part in the Independence Day celebration. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah spoke to Mr. Thimmappa’s family members over telephone and enquired about the Minister’s health.
